Benchmark testing with the Fujitsu 3090- 3093 series (28-34 pages per minute) and the Ricoh 420S (34 pages per minute) has demonstrated that Imagelib multipage scanning in TWAIN is just as fast as scanning in ISIS.
Version 3.09 also delivers a gateway to Expervision TypeReader Pro or Enterprise, providing users a powerful OCR solution. Annotation capabilities such as highlighting, "paste it's" (sticky notes), labels, stamps, arrows, and polygons allow users to mark up images on-screen. And the Zoom, Scroll and Pan feature offers precision control when moving across enlarged images. This new version also includes Scale-to-Gray with seven different options (five grayscale and two anti-aliasing) to greatly enhance the quality of scanned text. A Thumbnail Manager allows the user to preview images before selecting with a simple mouse click. Rounding out this comprehensive package are despeckle and deskew giving programmers everything they need for "easy to use", comprehensive and fast, royalty free document imaging applications.
The Corporate Suite includes forty image correction, manipulation and deformation tools and filters that can be manipulated by a simple mouse click. Image correction effects such as brightening, contrast, gamma correction, color reduction, and rotation have been added to this great new package. Special effect filters (mosaic, page curl, wave, transitions, and more), give programmers the opportunity to create "Photoshop(TM) for Dummies" - type applications with this easy to use library.
